La Capella — Just like the “old days”

The historic heart of Puerto Vallarta is a place I know by heart. When I was a child I attended Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe with my parents, and years later this was also the place where I got married.

This area has been a constant in my life; my parents’ family business was located just blocks away and coming to this area every day has been a part of my childhood and adult life.

Every time I document a wedding at La Capella I feel a profound connection to the surroundings. I not only see a beautiful venue; I see the church bells I’ve listened since I was a little girl and the streets that still keep the old feel of downtown. This deep familiarity allows me to capture your day with a sense of place and heart that only a true local can provide.
